Is it possible to lose your salvation?

No, it is not possible to lose your salvation.  Our salvation is based on Jesus’ work on the cross and His grace not by anything that we have done (Ephesians 2:8-9).  So, if we can’t do anything to earn it, then how could we do anything to lose it?  Paul states that nothing can separate us from the love of Christ once we are saved, and that includes sin and ourselves (Romans 8:31-39).  Also, Jesus states that once we are His that nothing can take us out of His and God the Father’s hands (John 10:24-30).  Finally, it is Jesus that keeps us from falling and Who will present us faultless when we get to Heaven (Jude 24-25).  So don’t waste time worrying about losing your salvation; God died to gain you, and He lives to keep you.
