By whose faith are we saved?

Our salvation is based on the faith of Jesus Christ.  It is Jesus’ faith that His sacrifice would be accepted by the Father that saves us.  His faith is in the work that He did on the cross and it will cover everyone on earth, they just have to accept it (Romans 3:22).  It is through Jesus’ faith that we are justified and cleansed of our sins (Galatians 2:16; 3:22).  It is by the faith of the Son of God that we live and our salvation is secure (Galatians 2:20; Ephesians 2:8-9).  We are to have faith that Jesus’ sacrifice will save us, but He had to have faith that it would be accepted as a sacrifice for sin.
