If everyone came from Adam and Eve, then why do people look different?

When God created Adam and Eve He made them with traits that would be able to be passed to their offspring.  They had the ability to produce millions of genetic differences, and their offspring had the same ability.  After the Flood Noah’s sons had very distinctive traits and so did their children.  After the Tower of Babel they all spread into different regions of the earth (Genesis 11:8).  Ham’s descendants went to Africa and parts of the Middle East (Psalm 105:23), Japheth’s went to Europe and various islands around it, and Shem’s went to the Middle East and Asia.  We all came from the original 2 people God created, but through genetic diversity we are slightly different from each other.
