Is Jesus God?

Yes, Jesus is God.  Jesus is part of the trinity and He is God the Son.  He was in the beginning with God and was God and created all things and eventually became flesh and blood to save mankind from their sins (John 1:1-14).  Jesus even told the Jews that He and God the Father are One (John 10:30).  The Jews tried to stone Jesus a number of times because He said that He was God and equal with God (John 5:58-59, 10:31-33).  Old Testament prophecies about Jesus talk about His goings forth being from everlasting and that He will be called the mighty God and everlasting Father (Micah 5:2; Isaiah 9:6).  Even one of Jesus’ names, Immanuel, means God with us (Matthew 1:23).  And there are many, many more scriptures to show that Jesus was literally God in the flesh.
