Is the Bible historically accurate?

The Bible is the only “religious” book that contains accurate history found anywhere in the world.  Through the Bible archeology has rediscovered the Hittites Empire (Genesis 15:20) and the Assyrian Empires capital at Nineveh (2 Kings 19:36).  Also all of the customs found within the Bible fit the time periods they describe, many of which were only around during those particular times.  The book of Acts is considered by most scholars, both Christian and secular, to be completely historically reliable and has been used in the last 20 years to further understanding of the Roman Empire.  Through archeology and other historical documents we see that the Bible is historically accurate.
