What rewards wait for us in Heaven?

Christians will stand before the Judgement Seat of Christ when the time comes (Romans 14:10; 2 Corinthians 5:10).  There are 5 crowns that can be gained by the believer due to their faithfulness while on earth. There is the crown of righteousness, which will be given to those who wait and love the appearing of the Lord (2 Timothy 4:8). There is the crown of life, which will be given to those who have endured temptation and overcome, as well as to those who have died a martyr’s death (James 1:12; Revelation 2:10). There is the incorruptible crown, which is given to those who learn self-control and finish their race well (1 Corinthians 9:24-27). There is the crown of glory, which is given to those in the ministry who help the Church grow in faith (1 Peter 5:1-4). Finally, there is the crown of rejoicing, which is given to soul winners (1 Thessalonians 2:19-20). During the judgement, our works will be passed through fire; what remains we will keep, what is burned up will be lost (1 Corinthians 3:11-15).
