Are there any sins that will not be forgiven?

Many people think that there are sins that will keep a person from being forgiven by God.  This may range from getting an abortion to homosexuality to child molestation.  However, according to the Bible, none of these will keep one from being forgiven.  Christ’s blood paid for all sin, not just those we think are less damning (Romans 6:10).  For God sin is sin and no one sin is esteemed higher than another regarding sending a person to Hell or being forgiven by the blood of Christ (Romans 3:21-26).  The only thing that will keep a person from being forgiven is to blaspheme the Holy Spirit by rejecting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (Matthew 12:31; John 16:7-11).  We need to make sure we recognize that God loves all people and gives everyone a chance for salvation, no matter what they have done ( 2 Peter 3:9).
