Did Jesus die for Satan and the fallen angel’s sins?
The simple answer to this is no. Jesus took on the likeness of men so that He could die for man’s sin and bring salvation to Adam’s descendants (Philippians 2:6-8; Galatians 4:4-5). Satan and the fallen angels are spiritual beings and therefore the sacrifice of Christ does not affect their fallen condition. The test that God gave to Satan to see if he would follow Him was making Satan beautiful and giving him the job of being the cherub that covered the throne (Ezekiel 28:13-19). But Satan failed his test and coveted God’s throne, thinking that he deserved worship as God did (Isaiah 14:12-15). The angels test was to either follow God or follow Satan, and one third of them chose Satan (Revelation 12:4). Once these decisions were made they became in a fixed state, where those who chose to serve God will always do so and those who chose to follow Satan will be condemned with him for eternity (Matthew 25:41).
