Does the Bible say anything about Thanksgiving and what does it mean to God?

While the Bible does not mention the holiday of Thanksgiving as we celebrate it, it does mention many times of how we are to be thankful to God.  God has given us so very much and so many times we all take it for granted.  Our salvation and fellowship with Christ are things that we need to be extremely thankful for (Colossians 2:7).  Also when we pray to God, whatever His answer is we need to be thankful for it (Colossians 4:2).  There is a lot to be thankful for every day, not just in November.  So give praise to God and make a joyful noise, and let Him know how thankful you are to Him for all that He has done (Psalm 100:4).
