Why does the Bible only mention God’s right hand?

Historically the right hand of someone with power symbolized honor and privilege, either by sitting at the person’s right hand or having the right hand placed upon someone in giving a blessing or title (Genesis 48:17-19).  After Jesus’ sacrifice He was given a place of honor by God the Father to sit at His right hand (Mark 16:19; Romans 8:34; Hebrews 12:2).  The Bible doesn’t really mention God’s left hand because this would bestow an honor upon another person (although not as prominent as the honor of the right hand).  If God did this then it would take away from Christ.  Jesus is the only one who should have our glory, honor, and praise (Philippians 2:10-11).
