Where did God come from?

There was never a time when God did not exist, therefore God did not have a beginning (Genesis 1:1).  This is hard for us to comprehend since we are all finite beings who have a beginning to life and see a beginning in everything around us.  However, God is eternal and stands outside of time (2 Peter 3:8); in fact, God created time (Genesis 1:14).  God had no beginning and has no end; He always was and always will be (Revelation 1:8; Isaiah 44:6).
