Does God have feelings or emotions?

Yes God does have feelings and emotions, just like we do.  When we do the things that God wants us to do He is pleased with us, or happy with us (1 Kings 3:10, Hebrews 11:5).  God loves mankind (1 John 4:19) but He also hates our sin (Proverbs 6:16-19) and grieves over the wickedness that we commit (Genesis 6:6, Ephesians 4:30).  God also gets angry with people (1 Kings 11:9, Exodus 4:14).  God has emotions, but He does not sin.  Our emotions and feelings are a reflection of our creator, however sin makes them become hard to control and unreliable.  God controls His emotions and feelings and we should do the same.
