Should we as Christians support Israel?

Yes, we should be in support of Israel.  Israel is still God’s chosen people and those who bless them are still blessed by God today, and those who cruse them are cursed as well (Genesis 12:3).  Also we should not think that we have replaced Israel, they have only been set aside by God for a time and will be moved back in the forefront after the church is gone (Romans 11).  While we might not agree with all of Israel’s actions and need to stress their need for salvation through Jesus, we should pray for them because they will do a lot wrong before they get right at the second coming of Jesus (Romans 11:25-27).
