Should we study end times prophecies?

Studying the end times is important so we can know what to look for in God’s big plan for the earth.  It is also good so we are able to warn people of what to expect in the end.  However, we need to remember that our main focus should be to lead people to Jesus (1 Corinthians 1:17).  While it may be interesting, fun, and more exciting than other studies within the Bible, studying the end times too much can consume us and take our focus off where it should be.  We need to remember that we live in the present and that our primary focus is to see people get saved and teach them in the way they should go (Deuteronomy 4:9).
