What is the Holy Ghost?
The Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit is the third part of the trinity of God; God the Holy Spirit. He is a comforter (John 14:16), He teaches (John 14:26), He lets people know when they are sinning (John 16:7-11), and He guides people to Jesus Christ for salvation (Romans 8:14). He was a part of creation (Genesis 1:2), He moved the authors of the Bible to write the Words of God correctly (2 Peter 1:21), and He lives inside of a person once they are saved (1 Corinthians 6:19). And He is very much God (Acts 5:3-4). The Holy Spirit does many wonderful things for us and He directs us to live our lives according to God’s standards not our own.
