Where is the location of the Garden of Eden?

Many people have been searching for the location of Eden for hundreds of years.  The Mormons claim that it was in Missouri, while others claim it was in modern day Iraq.  The reason why people think it was in Iraq is because Genesis states that the rivers Euphrates and Hiddekel (Tigris) ran through it (Genesis 2:14) and that it was to the east (Genesis 2:8).  The problem is that no one really knows, nor can know where it was.  After the Flood the topography of the earth changed greatly and Eden was destroyed.  The rivers we have today with those names were more likely given the names of the other rivers and not the same rivers.  Truthfully the location of the Garden of Eden really doesn’t matter all that much anyways.
